My question is how come all of a sudden, the word black is supposed to be capitalized, is it a title now???

My question is how come all of a sudden, the word black is supposed to be capitalized, is it a title now???

My question is how come all of a sudden, the word black is supposed to be capitalized, is it a title now??? The designation of a race ie Negro, Mongoloid, Caucasian, I do believe is properly capitalized. Now it seems offensive to use the word Negro or Mongoloid so Black and Asian seem to have taken their place. I am not sure how that works with East Indians that are both Black and Asian but their race is Caucasian.
