Wanting to hunt next May/June for black bear . Most all the guys are booked for the year. Got any Ideas? Ray

Go up to POW. rent a vehicle and hunt the FS roads, clear cuts etc

I would suggest Greenrocks Lodge. They house and feed you and take care of your boat. Nice folks.

Boat hunts can be fun. I did one, I had lot's of fun on this hunt. Myself and one other hunter was on the boat, along with guides and a cook. Some fantastic food at every meal. I try to have a great time on all my adventures.
