so I was putting together some practice loads and was canvassing a few load data sources before deciding my starting charge.
I went over to Nosler and the only projetile weight they had listed was 115gn.??
do they only put a subset online?
115 is pretty far to the heavy end for 380... talk about slow, that gets you down around those fancy new .50 cal air rifle velocities...

I do believe if you take a look at Noslers product offering of 9mm .355 bullets is limited to 115 and 124. Now the 124 is not suitable for 380 but 115 can be. Nosler has absolutely no incentive to publish data for bullets they don’t make just as Speer, Hornady and Sierra only list their products in their manuals.

They only list data for Nosler bullets. I don't believe they make a lighter 9mm bullet than 115 gr. Yeah it's slow, look at Hodgdon's for more variety, I've been using TiteGroup.

thanks. Another member had posted a 2011 article ".380 the easy way" that had a pretty good selection 80-100gn. I think)but the powders were a bit slower that what I was using... I was hoping to criss reference and get a better idea of a starting load

I like to find some XTP 90s...the 2011 Handgunners guide says good things about them in nine...I imagine they would do well in .380 I saw some 115s but that is kind of like sending a stick-up artist a cease&desist order by snailmail...

April-May Handloader Mag has a reloading article on the 380. I use HP-38 with both 95 gr lead RN and JHP bullets.
