I found reloader26 in stock today but man was it expensive! $55 per pound and $405 for an 8# jug! I was down to half a pound and feeding four rifles so I caved in and bought the 8# jug. Now if some 6.5 bergers would show up!

When it worked so damn good in the Creed and the PRC I decided I’d get it when I seen it. Have 26# stashed away ready to go. Now the 7 mag loves it so WIN-WIN for me.

and to think when it was launched, all the Sportsman's Warehouses around here were selling it at $22.00 a pound, and like $125.00 or something in that range for the 8 pound ones... I'd buy one every time I was in their stores....I think I ended up giving 10 to 12 pounds of it away to fellow campfire members or local friends here in Oregon...

Still got a bunch of it... and like anything else I got that will make a gun go bang.... nope it ain't for sale...

I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to feed your rifle but I wouldn't have paid 405 dollars for it. I bought all the powder and primers I'll ever need for my rifles during the Trump years.

I waited out VV N550 & N165. Took a long while but I got 12# each when the price was down..........as much as it was going to get.

24# or so left of RL26
8# of Retumbo
9# of H1000
8# of H4350
Quite a few other. I’m set for awhile.

Another boring nonstory today. 60.5 grains RL 26 behind a 150 NP in my 270 Winlite. 3/4 in for 3 shots at 2980. Just like everybody else said it would. Hard to argue with results like that.

IMR 7977 is a great substitute for RL 26.
Gets about 50 fps less but is not temp sensitive and gets better accuracy in everything I burn it in.

I did not find the magic in RL26 with my 270 win using 150 gr bullets.

Performed parallel to a couple other powders I use.

Just my gun I guess.

It’s my go to powder in my 300 Weatherby and 300 Winchester both with 200 grain Nosler Partitions.
I used to use H1000 in my 300 Winchester - it’s still the second best powder in that rifle.

I prefer classic.
