Tried a bunch with about the same mediocre results. Looking at something at tractor supply called Pyranha for horses and dogs. Anyone here use it? What do you guys use?

Bravecto pill or Seresto collars. No need for shampoos that never work when I use them.

I use a sergeants brand. Lathers and rinses off pretty good. Don’t know what else I would need to cleanup the dog.
Which I don’t do with any regularity.

No need for shampoos or sprays with Seresto collars. They might kill a dog once in awhile but at least it won't have fleas.

I used to use front line, now bravecto.....both work. Bravecto works without any sign of working.....its perfect.

Get rid of the dogs, problem solved.

I kept my bird dogs on concrete, didn’t have trouble with fleas, gave them an ounce of Ivermectin per month for heart worms. It’s supposed to help with fleas, but what the hell do I know.

Googled ivermectin, doesn’t kill fleas or ticks.

I give my dog Ivermectin once a month for internal parasites and an off brand Advantage called Pet Armor Plus topical application at the same time and never have any issues. I’ll spray him with Permethrin as an extra precaution if the the ticks are especially thick but I could get by without it. I’ve used the Seresto collars and they work fine to but I’d rather do the topical than add another collar just personal preference.

My little Beagle runs through the thick brush five or six miles a day and this year is a bad year for ticks. Also she catches lots of rabbits and squirrels and they have fleas.
I use NexGard chewables for fleas and ticks. Supposed to give it once a month but I stretch it out for once every six weeks. This stuff is unbelievable, bye bye to fleas and ticks.

If not for that, powder that mutt up with diatomaceous earth it is a real tick killer.
