Wish I could just have one more of my Mom’s home cooked meals. She’s been gone 3 years now. Ever once in a while, she’d cook me some pan fried thick cut pork chops, with thick cut French Fries fried in the same grease, then smother them with her homemade white gravy along with a pan of homemade buttered biscuits. And add in some of her homemade peach cobbler topped with ice cream. I can almost taste it now. 😢

Thinking pretty much any of the 'seafood spreads' that Campfire member, kamo gari, posts photos of would be high on my last meal menu choice list.

Ha! I was just about to make a similar post!
Mine would be freshly-caught walleye at new_2_99s' place!Propane turkey fryer base & medium sized shore lunch pan, in summer for outside frying, or skillet on stove top for winter. Seasoned flour - Corn flour, self raising flour, onion powder, garlic salt & mucho smoked paprika ! Fries are done in a tefal air fryer, outside too. Lettuce for caesar from garden, dressing from scratch, egg yolks from the girls & double dose of anchovie fillets Walleye & perch last night; Life is good ! Paul's posts like this make me homesick for northern Ontario - oh, and drooling! John

Everyone who knows me, knows I can cook. Making Gulf shrimp scampi as we speak.
That said, perfect brisket is my perfect food.
