Light/short rods all get double taper lines Meh. A 1/2 century of flycasting have taught me it’s whatever you like.

Hang around the campfire for a decade or so and maybe you’ll find other folks have a lot of experience too. I find a WF line very suitable on my 3 weight for short casts, especially with larger flies like hoppers up to size 10 or so

Pugs, there are some of these in every discussion. Sad they exist to be a pain in the a$$.. The only way they get attention. Probably, most old timers forgot more than these folks know.

Interesting thread. My reel has a 32 year old Cortland line on it and I was wondering when I should consider replacing it. It has been used very little and had sat for 20 yrs without being outside.

I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

Went to the link, it shows just 1 line for 3 to 9 , am I reading that correctly?
