I was intending to buy the SA RO Target in 9mm as discussed on a previous thread. But GBroker still has not gotten my account unscrewed, as it turns out, providently.
I got a phone call today from a dear friend. Several here know exactly to whom I refer.
He offered me a Kimber SS Target II with barrels in 9mm, 38 super, and 10 mm at a price I absolutely can not refuse. The gun shoots, as friend has won a couple matches with it, and he would not be selling it to me if it did not.
Lightly used, just a few boxes of ammo through it.
So begins the journey down another rabbit hole, that of autoloaders.
At this rate I might even end up purchasing an autoloading rifle of some nature in the future. LOL

9mm, 38 Super and 10mm.
Nice little package.
Gonna break your wallet setting up to load for that outfit.
But, 9mm would be easy enough. Hopefully, things loosen up soon. Ammo is available. Maybe components will be soon, and prices will get better.
(Fingers crossed)
Anyway, sounds great. Enjoy.

Already have dies for the nine, 2000 berry's bullets and several pounds of appropriate powders. My kids have several nines amongst the crowd.
I might even break down and purchase a couple thousand super and 10 mm factory loads to get the brass. Then purchase dies as they once again become available.
We'll see what becomes available and when. But for now, I can shoot the 9mm barrel.

I did not know that 10 mm would work in a 9mm/38 super/ slide. I thought 10mm were switched with 45acp slides also 40 S&W will switch on 45 slides.
Sounds like a nice pistol though. Congrats !

You’ll love it. I’ve got that same gun in 10mm. Very accurate. And it’s never hiccuped once. Congratulations!

Sounds like a nice pistol though. Congrats ! Seems to be a Kimber thing. According to the expert and previous owner. He says, just change the barrel and recoil spring included with each barrel.

Starline has 10mm and 38 Super brass in stock. Thanks Ed, I hope they still have both after I recover from the gun purchase. Checking out bullet molds too. Probably burn a lot of Berry's for a while.

Sounds like a nice pistol though. Congrats ! A Dillon shellplate is the same, for all three, you only change locator buttons, so that stands reason that it is within tolerances.

Here's a pic of the new baby all ready to be shipped out West. Bob said it was okay to mention "The enabler claims another victim."

The real rabbit hole is 38 Super. It’s addictive. Extremely so. It’s as bad as the 41 mag. It’s a wicked good cartridge and perfect for the 1911. Go forth and have fun. p.s. The 1911 is the perfect autoloader and as addictive as the Super chambering.

I knew who it was, cause i know who visited you recently. i also remember the pistola being built he is a questionable influence on keeping one broke. I can hear him cackling from here. he is cackling when he mentions an "enabler" claiming another victim. after you get past the sticker shock, probably will enjoy the gun

I had been pricing 1911s for about a month. I hope Bob made a little bit on the exchange. But I would not bet that he did. Just about as many $ spent since on three sets of dies, bullets, and 1000 pcs of brass. I have not found a source yet for 9mm brass. Starline does not even have 9mm on backorder.
