Refreshing to see some push-back amidst all the PC bullish*t ads.
They didn't pull any punches and called out Georgia and the corporations that falsely colored the voting laws as restrictive and racist.

There's a lot of irony in the move to Denver. Yes, it was a racist move by MLB and it hurt the race they were trying to suck up to. There was a plan to honor Hammerin' Henry Aaron in Atlanta where he loomed large. Well, he got dumped on. The All Star Game in Atlanta would have been a centerpiece for black activism.
So they moved it to 82% "white" Denver and had a great Home Run Derby that appeared to be fun for all and a decent baseball game that made no racial statement that I saw. The crowd was big and enthusiastic and again, everyone appeared to be having fun.
While I thought the relocation of the game was a chickensh*t move, I think it turned out well for those who prefer baseball to racial politics. The most amusing thing is how many front line players need translators. Great American Pastime? Not so much. But it's still baseball.

I can't imagine any reason why I would watch the all star game.

I can't imagine any reason why I would watch the all star game. The game is too damn slow. Hike the ball and knock somebody on their ass. I can tolerate my grandson’s games though.

That commercial had 0 impact in the grand scheme of things.
The Blacks in it are seen as uncle toms by 98% of kneegrows anyways....
Your either on one side or the other basically by now with mindset.

Our old football coach did not understand baseball. He said nobody does anything but the pitcher, and the catcher.

I don't mind going to the ball park. Miller Park in Milwaukee is pretty nice.
I don't go for the baseball tho.

First game I watched this year. Might be the last. Wanted to watch Salvador Perez and Whit Merrifield from the Royals. Glad the commercial ran.
