You put the wrong title on this thread, It should read ......."My 30-06 is all I really want".........
You could need many more rifles but are drawing a line in the sand and putting your head in the ground........good luck with that

There's a big difference between "need" and want.. Just sayin.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I with ya. If I sold all my rifles down to one, it'd be my Winchester M70 Super Grade in .30-06. When she was brand new...

Maybe on the 06 but the 7.62x63 or 30-06 is no longer in the gi supply line like 7.62x51. Having a firearm chambered for Gov't issued carts is looking forward to your possible needs not backwards. Mb

It was all I needed for two decades until I got on the Fire and discovered I needed other 20 rifles. These days I pretty much use my 270.

I didn't realize rifles were heavy or certain brands of rifles wouldn't shoot and certain bullets wouldn't kill until I arrived here.

Outgrew the '06 when I turned 18 and could buy my own guns, haven't wanted or needed one in over 30 years
