Headed to Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply Company tomorrow to pick out one of their Hawken Half Stock stocks for a Green Mountain 54 cal round ball barrel that I have. The barrel is for a 1" T/C stock, but the T/C stocks don't offer enough drop at the heel for me to get good sight alignment. Not going to fight it anymore, going to get me a nice hunting stock. Anyone else ever deal with them?

I found them to be very good. Have a righthanded 54 Hawken built with their parts and the wood was great. Going to bet you will be very happy. Post some pics if you can when done.

The lack of drop in T/C Renegade has alwas been an issue for me. Lots of shooting leaves me with a sore cheek. Definatelyl worth a look

I've built 7 or 8 rifles with stocks I bought from them. One thing to watch is to make sure you get a stock with enough wood between the ramrod hole and the bottom of the barrel channel. This is because of how large the TC barrel tenons are.

Yes! I always ask em if they have what I need in the boneyard. Got a really awesome piece of maplr there ones with two worm holes. One got cut off as it was past the muzzle. And the other got filled with a toothpick! Saved $$$$$
