Soft-shell crab sandwich on toasted white bread, lemon juice and tarter sauce on the side.
Second best a hot lobster roll with lemon juice and butter.
Scheidt, I forgot about them softshell sammiches. They're the bomb for sure. Leave the tartar sauce off mine please. Haven't had a good meatball sandwhich in awhile. I may have to address that issue in the near future. I wish the Italian Grinder shop still existed and close by too. Damn they made a few good sandwiches.

Home grown tomato on white bread with mayo, salt, and pepper is a great one.

I love sammiches, havent meet one yet i dont like, expect for the green bell peppers on a philly
My favorite is either one of these.
Bologna, with velvetta (sliced cheeselike product lol), mircle whip, fresh sliced home grown mater, on wonder white bread
or
Braunscheger , with hot pepper cheese, on white bread, brown mustard and fresh sliced home grown mater.

I'd be hard pressed to name my top 25, much less top one. I'm with Rocky on this, I love 'em all. Tonight, though, we'll probably go to Lewis Barbecue, and if we do, I'll probably get an El Sancho Loco, which is pulled pork, chopped brisket and slices of hot gut sausage on a kaiser roll....sauce it up, pile on some vinegar-based cole slaw and you've got one of those sandwiches you can't let go off until it's done.

To me it's a toss-up between BLT and French dip. Adding above...meatloaf sandwich with mayo, smidge of ketchup and fresh lettuce. 🦫 PS A steak sandwich on a buttered toasted bun with a knife of good mustard, Mayo and horseradish is hard to pass on as well.

Liverwurst on a Kaiser roll would be close second. with a slice of red onion and some butter. Afterwards, avoiding breathing on anyone for awhile........

Had a lobster po-boy in Key West a few months back that was very memorable.....
I'd go back to KW just to have that sandwich again.

Bacon, avocado and tomato on oat bread w/ mayo. Turkey and stuffing w/mayo and mustard. And about a dozen others. Watching carbs sucks.

Too many to mention. Hard to beat a grilled cheese and ham sammich with a cup of chowder in the winter.
