Fresh baked bread, good sliced ham, sliced homegrown tomatoes and mayo.

Steve: I don't know of a sandwich I've eaten that I disliked?
But some of my favorites are good old Tuna on Rye's and B.L.T.'s.
I look forward all year to the sandwich's I take into the high country of SW Montana every fall while archery Elk Hunting.
They are made on the indestructible Ciabatta bread rolls and consist of smoked deli Turkey, lettuce, mayo, pre-sliced Dill pickles and Cheddar cheese.
Um-mmm I am getting hungry just thinking about them.

They are delicious. I made that cutting board for my wife. Purple Heart, maple, and oak I believe.

Gruff made the knife and it was a gift. I could never part with it.

Homemade turkey breast with mayo, salt, pepper on white bread.

Hot corned beef and sauerkraut on toasted or grilled rye. No it's not a reuben.

I usually order a club sandwich with extra bacon and jalapeños. Add a order of fries and call it good. Just did that at Sami’s Kitchen in Knoxville yesterday.

Ahh.. While it wasn't the BEST sandwich, I had a sandwich made with cape buffalo tongue while hunting in Zim several years ago. It was really good and right up there in memorability.

Love sandwiches. Most everything mentioned here. Had a Manwich for the first time, the other day. Was excellent. Jason's Deli "Beefeater" is a fav, along with broccoli cheese, or french onion soup.

My great aunt used to live on Bienville not far from Carrollton and we used to get the roast beef poboys from Parkway. That was in the 70s and early 80s. I have no idea how they are these many years later.

Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and sun-dried tomatoes on ciabatta with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Open-faced Dungeness crab-topped English muffins.

Fresh steamed crab mixed with Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, diced green onions, and a little bit of mayo. Stacked high on a toasted English muffin then baked at 350 for 25 minutes.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

Great topic for a thread, but I cannot pick just one 'sammich. Below are my top contenders:

The Big Dipper at the Klondike in Soldotna, AK was outstanding.

The Alaskan Burger at Hamburger Haven in Anchorage, AK might be the best thing I've ever eaten.

The Beef Ortega at Mort's Deli in Pacific Palisades, CA.

The sliced beef 'sammich at Angelo's BBQ in Fort Worth, TX.

Burger at Adair's Saloon in Dallas, TX - likewise the burger at Sons of Herman Hall.

The chili burger at Burger Island in Dallas.

The Reuben at Wolf's Delicatessen in Manhattan.

The French Dip at Philippe's in LA.

The lobster roll at virtually any roadside shack in ME.

The I-talian beef at Al's in Chicago...

...I could go on, but:
