You can’t stream it but I took my daughter to see “Old” on Thursday and it was very good.
Shamylan had a message in the beginning that said movies are best viewed in movie theaters and it’s time to stop being a buncha bitches and go see movies again. (Paraphrasing) Then he thanks the audience for doing so.
It got applause from the roughly 20 people there.

Just finished watching Escape at Dannemora on Prime. Well done series about a true event. If you watch it, look up the real people when you're done with it. Casting director should have won an award lol.
Stiller outdid himself on that one.
Great movie.

I didn't know they made another " Lost in Space " movie couple yrs ago. Seen a clip on it surfing the web.
I dont have Netflix, but am thinking about getting it now. Also lots of Sci Fi movie stuff I would like to watch on it also. Like the star trek related ones.
Bruce Willis is cranking out as many movies as Nicholas Cage.
His format is he'll be in the movie long enough to make an appearance, collect the check and get his name on the poster, but the other no name actors do the bulk of the work.
So I watched a movie on Amazon prime last night called Cosmic Sin - its a space shoot'em up and its easily the worst movie I have watched this year.
The movie starts out with 2 people on a mining planet there to do some testing. They are alone on the planet so of course they are going to bone and that is where the movie starts. No tiddies, so its already got a strike against it, then aliens show up and then the next scene is on earth they are saying they are assembling the survivors, which is like 8 people from a planet that just had 2 people on it.
The movie gets worse from there.Willis doesn't even care, he's staring at the camera throughout the movie , like he is looking at you saying "are you still watching this crap?"
and the answer is , yes Bruce, I am, I'm bored.
have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings
I don't watch much TV but watched a couple of the of the Netflix "How to Become a Tyrant" series. Told from a "this is the playbook" instructional point of view it was kind of interesting how they are doing the series. Talks about Hitler, Stalin, Hussein, Amin....I'm not sure who all they'll look at but several were mentioned. I'll probably check out of another one or two.

I tried to watch The Breach, with Willis in it. Got about 15 minutes in and gave up.
I was under the weather yesterday and watched 3 movies via firestick. -Battle for Los Angeles, pretty fair action flick. -24 hours to live, kinda weird action movie with a touch of sci-fi. Enjoyed it. -Men who stare at goats, which is one of those movies that never really caught my eye, but I decided to watch it anyway. Turns out that I avoided it for over a decade for a good reason.
Another great show on Netflix is season 2 of Black Summer. If you're normally an extreme sociopath or even just deeply paranoid and love double crossing, lying people engaging in absolutely senseless killing, I mean people shooting other people on sight for absolutely no reason at all, then you will love this show! If you think nihilism is much too optimistic and Nietzsche was a Pollyanna wannabe, you will love this show!
If you have a hard time in life with continuity and your thoughts randomly jump from one thing to another, and you arrive at conclusions or perform actions and then only later find out why you reached that conclusion or did that action, this is the TV show for you!
It also has great cinematography.
P.S. Didn't want to appear negative on a thread about greatness.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
