I just want to tell the posters on this thread. Cause you all are solid guys. My dog Blackjack died about 30 minutes ago. He could not get up this morning, his heart was racing. I picked him up and carried him into the kitchen. I sat on the floor and just held him in my lap trying to comfort him. Heart attack or stroke. And he was perfectly fine up until I woke up and got ready to start mine and his morning routine. This just came on out of the blue It aint fair....... To him or me..... My dog is gone.... I have a grave to dig and the sun isn't above the horizon yet. Blackjack was a great dog and I loved him.... Man that sucks, we picked up a new pup yesterday to replace my friend that died about a year and a half ago! Mostly Black Boston terrier, named him Jed. I feel for you Brother. Times like this life doesn't seem fair.

I am sorry to hear your dog passed. I am glad you were able to be with him and comfort him in his final minutes. I know that meant a lot to both of you.
