Got the alerts a few minutes ago. Chignik at 8.1 is huge!
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

The internet now says 8.2, and here on the AK peninsula it was a pretty stiff and long shaker. Kodiak has a tsunami warning until midnight.

Scheduled to land in Fairbanks Saturday. I would assume being over 300 miles above Anchorage that Fairbanks and Healy didn't get much out of this?

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

I missed it. Wondered what the dogs were going on about. I got up this morning hoping to find a bunch of reds in my driveway. No such luck

I was in a 5.4 An 8.2 must really get your attention.
My aunt and uncle moved to Los anchorage just in time for the big one.
Hope all the damage stays offshore
Decades of voting for the lesser of two evils has gotten us just that.....
