Slapped myself while in the staging lanes at the drag strip late one night cause I was getting sleepy. My hand glanced off the edge of my helmet & I busted my lip. Hard to watch the tree lights with tears in my eyes.

Hits/slaps? It's not unusual for the kids to have bruises from it. It's passed off as "happened on the mat". Several wrestlers have told us otherwise. But hey, the school wins! They get districts/ regionals/go to states. If a teacher did that to an aggressive student, He would go to jail. Unless he was also a successful coach. Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
