That Rem Varmint pattern is one of the best that McMillan does. Great ergos. Yes it is and does..... While a 26" barrel works fine in this stock, with it's shorter forend, it's really better suited for 24" and under barrels. I bought this for night time coyote hunting, and needed/wanted the detachable bottom metal for ease of unloading/loading when moving from stand to stand, as Wisconsin does not allow any rounds in the chamber or magazine when in a motor vehicle. Unfortunately, I decided I need a stock with an adjustable cheek piece too, so I bought a different stock that fits my requirements better.

As stated in the ad, "pillar bedded".
Also stated, I bolted in a barreled action to test feeding, which determines whether the pillars are installed at the correct height.
They are, and it does. One inch Decelerator, installed at 13 1/2" LOPCan you post a pic of the inlet side? I can......

Got a price on the mag if you want to separate? I will if the buyer doesn't want it. I'd rather keep them together for now. A lot of stunt shooters out there that could use this setup.....
