he's one of the few old school country guys that i don't like. even seen him in concert a few times. he always played his songs way too fast like he wanted out of there. his voice sucks, his songs suck and his politics suck. so ya, not a fan. One of the worst “Concert” performers Ever. Can’t keep time. Can’t sing. Guitar playing sucks too. They must work a lot of “studio magic” in making his recorded material sellable. I’m guessing the Dope Smoking POS is so stoned at most of his “concerts” that he doesn’t have a clue where he is. Kinda like his buddy Hiden Biden.

He has always been a dedicated democrat. His tribe always prided themselves in being thought of as outlaws. They turned him loose once after catching him traveling with dope. He's been in big tax trouble also but somehow seems to survive. Apparently being a radical democrat leftist has it's perks. Was involved in a movie production on his "ranch" right after and during one of his run ins with IRS. I never could understand how he managed to keep that place. ( The town scene where peach rings that rooster’s neck in Lonesome Dove was filmed there). I suppose he’s one of the anointed ones. When Willie's IRS sale came up, some rich good old boys got together and nobody would take the initial bid, which forced the auctioneer to start lowering the starting bids. When it got low enough, one of them would take the bid. This royally pi$$ed the IRS off as they thought Willies property was gonna get them a goldmine. The GOB's donated what they bought back to Willie. There was an interesting article in TM about it and the IRS' reaction to getting stung. Yep. Some of his Rich Libertard buddies bought that Ranch back for him. Wouldn’t be surprised if Soros was involved.

Several years ago my wife and I went to see Alison Krauss and Willie Nelson. Alison lead the concert with her band and it was a wonderful time, the place was packed and the crowd loved her.
When Willie came on within two songs people were getting up and walking out. Not only was his singing terrible but he and his band seemed to be out of sync/time with each other badly. Now Willie is know for singing behind the beat but this was more than that, it was like they had never played together at all. I was pretty embarrass for him as people kept getting up and walking out but after a few minutes that feeling went away when we walked out.
