They were about $1200 new in the late 90’s, iirc.
I can’t remember who (CRS creeping in), but there’s a guy on here who has one and it makes me drool every time he posts a pic of it. He’s the resident expert on them.

I seem to recall that there are revolvers out there touted as "Grover's Improved #5" which are just copies or mock ups. But, they were supposed to be really well built, and I know $900 is a steal.
Given a chance, for that $$, I'd change "thought" to "in my experience".

Some if the guns do have soft internals. Every TLA I’ve owned has been sent to Alan Harton to have the internals checked before I shoot them. Yeh are wonderful pieces of engineering and are very accurate, $900 is a steal,
