Local shop had a bunch of Federal small pistol match today. No limit but they were $8/100. There were lots left.

Local store in Ontario HAD large pistol magnum match. I took two trips to town to acquire 400 primers @ $9/100.
Cliffs in Boise is importing primers from Germany.....$210/1000.
I would ALMOST drive to Burley for a couple thousand small pistol primers.

You would have to look real hard to find a place that is consistently as high priced as Cliffs! They have had at times stuff that was scarce but they will make you bleed...

I am not sure. At that price I was not interested.
But I think I saw a box marked Ruan? Is that a thing?

Sometimes a deal can be found in the back room on the "yardsale tables". But generally, Cliffs is the "Stop of Last Resort." Hey, they had a couple of Kimber brand even, (not that it matters) 10mm mags for my new Kimber 1911. Only cost 80 some bucks for the pair, after tax. I could not find them online, so what's a guy going to do.

Idaho,
What was the brand of German primers? Probably RWS I did ask if they were RWS, as that is the only German name I knew. Sales clerk said no, RWS is only shotgun primers. Sales clerk may or may not have known what he was talking about. I certainly don't know.

I would ALMOST drive to Burley for a couple thousand small pistol primers. I don't live in Burley anymore. I left there in 92. The shop was the Gun Shop in Idaho Falls. They were gold medal match small pistol for $8. They had other sizes this morning and there was a 5 box limit. They had a big sale today and at 1:00 they removed all limits. They had magtech and S&B 9mm for about $17/50. They had Federal and AE 9mm and others for $19/50. There was 45 acp and 10mm for $25/50 and they even had FN 5.7x28 vmax for $39/50. There was lots of good deals. They had all Hornady bullets 10%off so I bought more .224 88g eldms and .243 105 bthp. I picked up some more cci velocitors but didn't go crazy even thought they were priced decent at $8/50. I got some more Anderson uppers for $39 to go with the $39 lowers I got Last sale. I also bought a holosun 503c for a 300bo pistol I just put together. I only spent about $500 but when they dropped the limits people were filling up their carts. My friend that works there said they still had the sm pistol match primers when they closed tonight. Bb

Sounds like some great deals. Unfortunately Idaho Falls is even further from home than is Burley.
But maybe, if the shop in IF has primers available, maybe we will see some soon in the valley here.
