Are any of you using an RCBS Chargemaster of any sort, and if so, what do you think about it. RCBS has a very good Military and retired Military discount program.

^^ +1 If mine stopped working for some reason, I would replace it immediately. I have the 1500 combo model.

I’ve been using one weekly for about 7 years. Never had a single issue with it.

I’ve used a Chargemaster 1500 model here since 2009. Mine went wonky last month and I sent it in to Lone Mountain Communications. They did an overhaul and returned it quick. They’re a great addition to the loading bench.

Crap sorry, I was thinking about the RCBS Chargemaster Lite. Any experience with it? https://www.rcbs.com/priming-and-po...ectronic/chargemaster-lite/16-98940.htmlWith the veterans discount I can get it for $200.77. I can't live with my Hornady Hang Charge Supreme measure for one more bench session. If I can kill two birds (measure/scale) with one good stone, I'd like to.

Had one of those Hornady models for about 6 months before I broke down and bought the RCBS. It's in a box around here somewhere. It's such a piece of crap I couldn't live with myself if I sold it to someone else.

What did they charge you to fix it, my scale won't calibrate.

What did they charge you to fix it, my scale won't calibrate. You pay shipping both ways and it’s a $155 flat rate repair. They check everything and replace anything they find. Well worth it https://www.lonemountaincommunications.com/

There was a thread on here a couple of years ago about fixing a charge master by reflowing the solder joints in the electronic board. Mine was intermittent, I recorded the joints and that solved the problem. Think it's on YouTube also.

What did they charge you to fix it, my scale won't calibrate. I have owned one for several years and would not be without one. With that being said, I initially could not get it to calibrate and it was driving me crazy. I finally called RCBS and spoke with a tech. He offered to send new weights, problem solved. The weights that came with it were not the correct weight. Check your weights and see if that is an issue.

I have been using the Lite for about 2-½ years. If it craps out, I'm buying another one.

It sounds like whatever the Chargemaster product is, it gives good service. I'll be getting one. Thanks for the feedback.
