Just a quick word to anyone interested, Caldwell has a very well made brass catcher out. Just received and installed mine two days ago. At the range it held about 50-60 rounds of .223 brass before I had to un zip it and dump it. This was all bench shooting and the weight was affecting my ability to hold the rifle level. I have a three gun next Saturday and I'm going to try it if the course is >60 rounds. The brass catcher has a wire frame and a mesh bag with a zipper at the bottom. It attaches to the pic rail and can be quickly removed.

I have one on my .458 SOCOM. Recoil would cause the Velcro attached ones to move around, ejection port would be uncovered after a couple rounds.
Saves chasing the expensive SOCOM brass around and losing them.

I'm using that one, too. Like it.
It'll lay brass in a neat little pile on the bench or catch it for you.

It says it only works with mil spec lowers. Has anyone used this with billet lowers?

Not sure about billet, but it doesn't work with the KE Arms poly lowers.

I have their adapters on three rifles. I just have move the catcher from one to another. When I’m at the bench I just leave the zipper open and let the cases drop on the bench.

Was this in reference to my question about billet lowers?

I have the Caldwell, wish I would have had it before. Like it esp. when hunting coyote, fox, deer and whatnot. The whatnots are really what a guy shoots a ton of ammo at. Saves grief, I can't for what ever reason leave reloadable cases layin around.
I would have got him too but a Dad Blam snow flake hit me in da eye....

I have the tactical brass one and the brass goat. Brass goat is the winner if your lower can run it.
