Amazing how, after months of fighting the DOT, or a tax issue,
A trip or call to the Rep, and in just days either everything is great.
Or I get a call from a supervisor. Asking a few questions, often an apology,
And a real guarantee that everything is now moving forward.

After my BIL offed himself with a Ruger single six, The cops gave it to his mother after they were done with it.
As if she wanted the damn thing.
She gave it to me still in the evidence box.
So I changed out the cylinder for 22 mag.
It's a good shooter

A friend of mine took his life in the same way. They have been told they will not get it back. The explanation is it was used in a crime. Suicide is not a crime in any state in the country.
