So when I picked up this caliber I was worried I wouldn't be able to find components or dies to be able to reload for the round. So I grabbed what I could and ended up with 3 boxes of Nosler 140gr Ballistic tips and 3 boxes for Hornady Precision hunter in 162 ELD-X. For those of you that have used either what are your thoughts? I have loaded the Nosler 140s in most of my 7mm guns for years and like the way they preform on game. I bought them because they were available. Anyone have a preference of one over the other for whitetail?

I have a LAW in 280 AI, it shoots the Nosler Trophy Grade 140 Accubonds 1/2-3/4" and the 162 Hornady ELD-X's the same. It shoots the Nosler Trophy Grade 160 Partition about an inch. I hope this helps.

The Nosler 140 accubonds have been extremely accurate in my 280AI....1/2 " groups
I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.
