Made in Turkey. Anyone here using one of these? The local Cabelas has a few on the rack and I was checking them out. They look pretty solid.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

My oldest son has an over-and-under; can't recall what model.
The only fault he's found with it is, the wood is extremely soft. You can look at it and leave a mark.
24HCF in its entirety, is solely responsible for why my children do not have college funds, my mortgage isn't paid-off and why I will never retire early enough to enjoy the remainder of my life.

Got a viper g2 20 ga , g2 bronze 28ga , and Tt-15 double trap , all excellent for the $$ the 20ga manual says 15/16 oz load required , I shot 3/4 oz loads some brands ard more reliable than others, the newer manuals says 3/4 oz loads min. Maybe theh changed things s bit ?? I've been going to open up the barrel gas ports just slightly on mine and see if it helps but I haven't done that yet. I would not hesitate to buy more TriStar product especially the Viper G2 and the T T Series

I've got a Viper G2 bronze. After about 500 rounds the main recoil spring broke, but the gun was still functional. Tri-Star had a spring in my hands (actually bro in laws hands as he was borrowing it for my niece) in 2 days, (plus they sent a spare magazine spring just in case they misunderstood what I described I guess).
No functional issues other than that spring except I accidently bought some low recoil AA's, they wouldn't eject, as one would expect.
Trigger is horrendous. 7.25#. I put the mcarbo spring in that many tout as being the savior to the G2 trigger. It took it down to 7#...time for some stone work and polishing.
I would buy one again, kicking around a 28 Viper G2.

They are OK. I won a 20 gauge O/U a few years ago. It seems to be decently made. Beyond that I am not sure as it is NIB. I have a couple of Brownings and a CSMC I'd rather use. That I have had a few unsolicited offers for it suggests the reputation of the O/Us at least is OK.

A few years back the club I shoot at bought 25 Vipers for the youth trap league. After three months only two were still working.

This all sounds like a good reason to walk on by them. They sure look nice though.

This all sounds like a good reason to walk on by them. They sure look nice though. Unfortunately you see a lot of them in most sporting goods stores because of the high prices of Italian guns. I am sure the more expensive Turkish guns are ok but an Italian, Spanish or Japanese gun will have better resale value.

The cheap Turkish $hit did ok on the dove opener again this year. The experiment continues (I bought it with a lifetime warranty from Bud's, if they can't fix it in the event of a failure, they'll allow the cost of it against any gun they carry)

Looks like it went bang 15 times. Or 150, if you shoot like I have lately. Either way, a good day in the field.

First time I shot doves, I brought 2 boxes of shells. Then I bought some from a much better shot who had limited out. Went home with no shells, a half dozen doves, and a big smile. Good times.
