Of all the Dove hunts Ive been a part of, organized is the last word I would entertain.

I remember hunting them in AZ, 5 or 6 of us would spread out in the early AM and when the birds took flight, it was every man for himself. Then other hunter would show up and start walking around and bitch about getting rained on by falling pellets. No crap buddy, your walking around aimlessly in open crop fields and shot tends to fall from the sky when they run out of steam in mid air. So I agree with Reloder28, organized would be a loosely used term.

I know it’s not within your desired range but I went on a dove hunt last year in Argentina…..4 of us shot over 11,000 birds in 3.5 days…. We killed piles of ducks too. Pm if you’d like more info. Top notch hunt.

I've been a part of many a well organized family/friends dove shoot. Pellet spray is a given usually and no big deal as long as no one shoots low birds. The more people in a good field usually results in a better hunt. As a gentlemans rule of thumb, pick your spot and stay there.

I hunt the area you are talking aboput, but I know people with access to land. we organize ourselves for safety. I don't know of any pay hunts but then I haven't looked.

Of course, I have likewise been part of many an organized hunt, thanks for your input.

Checked this one out, it sounds decent, certainly in consideration. North Carolina seems to gouge us Virginia boys on non-resident small game licenses, I assume it is because our irresponsible VA Dept of Game gouges all other states Thanks for the information.
