Think about it!

It does take a while to vet the paper work, I get it, but c'mon!

Literally, every round had to have the bolt to be pulled and another round cycled in to shoot it. We also shot Federal 40 grain at a stated velocity of 1,100 fps and it cycled every shot up to 30 rounds as well just fine.

Do the Rugers just not cycle the low velocity ammo like we experienced or was it due to the gun being brand new?

Sounds like you were trying to run CCI Quiets? If so, very few semi auto .22's will cycle them. If it cycled 1100 fps ammo fine, there's nothing wrong with the pistol.

You are correct. I thought so but just wanted to check.

My autos cycle the Quiet Autos with the 45gr bullet pretty well. As a bonus, they seem to hit closer to the regular POI as well. Any future purchase of the Quiets will be those, but I have quite a few of both right now. Both kinds, as well as SV ammo are all very quiet in my 24” Marlin 39A.

No suppressors on any of my guns, as I have no need. I do appreciate their use by others shooting various mini cannons next to me.👍🏻

What fresh Hell is this?
