Judging from the 2 rifle scopes and 2 binoculars that I have I think they would be an excellent choice at an attractive price point.

I'm sure it would be a great spotter if you can deal with an angled, I can't !!!!!

Hope Jon will do the right thing and make a straight soon.

Might call Leica and see what they can do to repair it. Could turn out to be less expensive than a new quality spotter.

Plus this would be a good test of Leica’s CS.

I would hope so too--but must add that I have plenty of spotters, and have found good uses for both straight and angled. Took me a while, though!

The last one was angled so I'm used to them. They are harder to use though but good for steep country.

I too am interested in a spotting scope review. I have both straight and angled scopes (Swarovski and Leupold). For out west, I prefer the angled if used on a tripod. It allows me to keep a lower profile in the ever present wind. After using for years, I can get on deer or elk very quickly. For a car window mount, the straight is clearly preferable.

Good idea I'll email a photo for a quote.

Same here, in fact I asked him that exact question the other day. He said at least 15 months out. frown

I have a Tract spotter that I bought 6 months ago.

Money well spent!

Could not be happier with it.
