This should tick off everyone. If they couldn't take them out why did they at least not use explosives to destroy the weapons and money, not to mention all of the humvees and aircraft that were left behind.
drover Just guessing but I suspect they were told to hurry up and leave Bagram by someone in D.C. who had never thought about all this stuff. While the troops on the ground were trying to figure out what to do with the stuff, they were told to leave right now. So they left it for the Afghan army. The Afghan army saw the Americans bugging out in the middle of the night, without even telling the Afghans, so they did the same. Someone in D.C. needs to be court martialed.

Can someone please tell me why we couldn’t take this stuff with us??? We could have. It’s very likely that the reason all of those weapons and money weren’t taken is because the people who are pulling the strings of the Biden Administration...those who are the ‘real’ power behind it...wanted all of those weapons and money to fall right into the hands of those that it did. Things are the way they are because those who are truly the power behind it all ‘want’ things to be this way...whether it’s Afghanistan or Covid or the southern border.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

I have a thought that resident biden and his flunkies have a deal with taliban to kill isis-k and al-qaeda if we arm taliban. past history taliban and isis/al-qaeda were enemies, still are i understand. so then, resident biden is legitimizing the taliban as an legitimized regime to govern afganistan. i understand russia and chinks are keeping their embasies operational in afganistan. reference todays wall street journal.
