START UP on Netflix if you can stand Ron Perlman. Good Haitian mob insight in Miami. Some stupid sh*te with the punk techie crowd, but good drama overall. First 2 seasons have Martin Freeman in there. In total, there are 3 seasons.
If you like British cop shows, or even if you want some good plots, LINE OF DUTY is excellent. Adrian Dunbar is excellent in that series: Adrian Dunbar- quotes from Line Of Duty
In my opinion, the Brits do much better with plots and shows that make you think. DCI BANKS, PRIME SUSPECT, ENDEAVOR, etc. are all good.
LITTLE BOY BLUE is a great detective series about an acting chief detective who nails a teen gang for killing an 11 yr old boy.

White Tiger on Amazon. A russian movie about WW2 tank battles, it is about the Russians fighting a mysteriouis German tank. The movie is hard to describe it because it has a mysticism quality about it but it is excellent IMO. It was nominated for Best Foreign Film honors at the Oscars.
Alert - it is a little slow at times but well worth watching.

Just watched Slither, free on Prime. I saw it about ten or so years ago. It was a pretty good, fun, horror/science fiction. Story line is sort of a cross between The Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Crazies. Pretty gruesome at times, but also a bit funny at times.
PS The Crazies is also free on Prime, as I recall. I didn't watch it only because I have it on DVD and have seen it several times. If you haven't, The Crazies is pretty good, too. Maybe even better than Slither.
By coincidence, both version of The Invasion of the Body Snatches are also free on Prime this month.

PS If you like Westerns, Prime has (free with ads) The Virginian, the 1960s TV series. I rate it as a top notch Western series. Great acting and story lines, not to mention production quality.
Be warned that you will see Model 92 Winchesters, and Colt SAA revolvers with the spring loaded base pin cross latches (which didn't appear till the late 1890s). But if you can overlook such common problems with 1960s (and earlier) style Westerns, it's well worth watching.
PS "Free with ads" means that they have commercials but, oddly, when I watch anything "free with ads" on my AppleTV device (which is on my big screen, living room, TV), it's free without ads. Been that way for as long as I've owned it. Watch the same things on my Amazon Fire device (hooked to my bedroom TV), my iPhone, or my MacBook, and there are commercials. Not sure why the difference, but I'm not complaining.
Might be because my AppleTV device is quite old, and may not be able to support commercial interruptions.
Most movies have me regretting wasting the time spent watching them. This one is on Amazon and I found it very entertaining. (Sweet eye candy too...😁)
Kinda like Jaws. Is it free on Prime. Saying it's on Prime or on Amazon for a fee isn't saying much, since just about any movie can be purchased or rented on Prime.
I don’t know that you can argue the testimony of the people in those interviews.
But that’s best left for another thread.
There's no doubt that WWII was horrendous for a lot of people. Lots of people were gathered into work camps (in the US, too), and lots of bad crap happened in them, particularly on the losing side near the end of the war. Many suffered and died. No one doubts this. If that's their testimony, I have no doubt they're telling the truth.
PS You know that Eisenhower murdered hundreds of thousands of surrendered German soldiers in camps, right? Regular front line soldiers, not concentration camp guards, even.
JFC, at least you are consistent in demonstrating your twisted "thought" process.

Yah. Definitely says something about the guy. Otherwise was getting over judgements I'd made based on similar previous comments. Nope - a good reminder. Really fuucked up and over a solid line for me.
