DoD had Foreknowledge of Kabul Airport Bomber – Denied Permission to Fire Predator Drone that had Lock on Him – 13 US Heroes DeadRoger Pardo-Maurer, the former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs (2001-2006), joined Jorge Ramos on Univision Noticias on Monday to discuss the unfolding disastrous withdrawal of US forces in Afghanistan. During their conversation, Pardo-Maurer told Ramos the Department of Defense had foreknowledge of the Kabul Airport suicide bomber but denied permission to fire a Predator Drone missile once they had a lock on him. 13 US servicemen and women were killed in the blast along with over 100 Afghans. Not one network has carried this story.They barely mentioned Afghanistan tonight.

Before we go nuts, it'd be good to know if he was isolated or in a crowd of civilians. I don't know anything about drones or their payload...but if he was in a crowd, the drone could create some collateral damage itself, but the secondary would have been a doozy. 13 killed and 200 wounded or something? Before you get all pissed at me, I'm not standing up for military command structure...it's rotten to the core. I'm just sayin' it'd be good to have the whole picture.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.
