They've never harmed anyone or broken a law. They're defenseless and need our help. I'm glad Texas lawmakers and our US Supreme Court are willing to make the law stand for what's righteous. I'm concerned the result will be increased demand for Mifepristone, followed by increased supply, lowered cost, and more widespread use, and almost certainly the dropping of the REMS requirements or any ETASU by the Biden Administration's FDA.

Until now, Mifeprestone, aka Korlym, Mifeprex, RU486 etc., an abortifacient progesterone blocker, has been subject to the following requirements:

* Mifepristone must be dispensed to patients only in certain healthcare settings, specifically clinics, medical offices, and hospitals, by or under the supervision of a certified prescriber;
* A provider must become a certified prescriber by completing and sending a Prescriber Agreement Form to the specific distributor, Danco Laboratories or GenBioPro, which confirms they are able to assess the duration of a pregnancy, diagnose ectopic pregnancies, and provide surgical abortion in the case of an incomplete abortion;
* The certified prescriber must obtain a signed Patient Agreement Form from the woman before dispensing the drug, as documentation of safe use conditions.

There were already lawsuits pending to incease the availability. At one point last year, the in-person requirements were temporarily dropped after a legal challenge using the rationale of the Covid pandemic. The SCOUTS ruled in favor of the Trump administration FDA and overturned the exception, re-instating the in-person requirements. Because this isn't a law passed by Congress, but only an FDA rule, the FDA under Biden will almost certainly drop the requirement and we will see mail-order Mifeprestone flooding the market.

Mifeprestone is the product of the ultra-secretive Danco labs. Danco was awarded the priveledge of being able to maintain an almost total veil of secrecy due to the obvious controversy surrounding their product. It's funded by the "Population Council" and financed through the Buffet Foundation (Warren Buffet). The few people connected to it have claimed that it's not profitable or at least not profit-motivated, but that the motivation behind it is their purely evil ideology.

There is no rape exception written in the Texas law, those who have been raped can be sued by anyone if they choose to abort the pregnancy after six weeks.
