I went fishing with my grandkids locally.
I have been at the range almost every week since they opened it.
No BG hunts planned for the fall. Will go bird hunting and go after coyotes.

I never stopped fishing, Went to the range at least weekly, often twice or more each week and did my normal hunting thing. Why would you not have been able to hunt, fish or go to the range? Did they (who??) close your range because of covid??

No, we went fishing because of COVID, but the kids were in school until about 7 weeks ago.
Our range was closed for a few months at the beginning of the year. It opened in May.

Not in Canada. I will never get this vaccine and it looks like Canada is going to require it to go there. I’m finally financially stable enough to afford a deer hunting trip to Saskatchewan, but I guess that’s not going to happen. I’ll spend the money in the U.S. On the bright side, my wife is from Quebec, guess I don’t have to visit the in-laws anymore!

I'm working, every day, in hopes that I will get everything done before I die. I need at least ten years so I'll live for a while yet. I'll break to hunt a bit in September and October. Planning a trip to visit daughter, in Florida, this winter. Will tow the trailer down and stop to visit some internet acquaintances along the way. GD

Keeping busy is always good. I had an interesting case separation today. It is a Starline 223 case formed to 6x45mm with one previous firing.

Had a goose trip booked for Saskabush. Cancelled it as Covid numbers took off.

I would love to visit Canada again, but my wife's health precludes any travel this year. Maybe someday.

A week ago I figured I would see if I could get a Fall Bear hunt in, late to look but figured nothing to lose. I usually hunt spring bear in CA but given they did not think bear hunters were essential workers the last two spring bear hunts had to be scrubbed like a lot of others.
Found an opening with Rainy Lake Outfitters which is closer than my normal spot so I am off after a bear Sept 12.

Now that the Fourth Wave Delta Fuelled Variant has taken hold, you’ll be well advised to just hunker down.
Hunting is quite safe, It’s the travelling to and from that presents extra exposure.

None of my business or vacation plans include Canada this year. I'm afraid the damage Trudeau and his team of Communists have done, wont be undone. In BC, the disregard for our friends who come here and hunt, have done our tourism industry irreparable damage.

I guess the Communists started spreading the COVID (which apparently came from space, delivered by Communist aliens) so that they could hunt in peace.
Domestic hunts. Domestic hunts. Those would be hunts a person or persons attend at or near home, not travelling out of the country, or going into space to hunt for Communist aliens or moon moose.
