Took my Stevens 301 single shot dove hunting this morning, and have a problem. It will eject like 5-6 shots then next one will not eject, have to push the shell out with a ramrod. Will eject a shell that has not been fired every time...no problem. Shell completely in the chamber and cannot be taken out unless push out with a ramrod. Ejector not under the shell. It is a new 20 gauge...bought it this spring for turkey hunting....zeroed it with 3' shells and did not do this till today with 2 3/4 dove loads. Never turkey hunted with it, got it like last week of season. Anyone ever had a problem like this. I thought maby the bore need honing...fired shells sticking...but have not done anything yet...cleaned it up and dropped some oil on/in the ejector. Need some help.
