I had a Prohunter years ago in .270 Win....the back of the barrel had a light spiral flute, double set trigger cool looking rifle. Didn't group very good with anything I threw at it. Sold/traded it off pretty quick.

I had one in 300 Win Mag and it was very accurate. People I know that had them also stated they were extremely accurate. The only downside is I hear is you can't replace the barrel if you shoot it out.

scottfromdallas, I had one rebarreled when I lived in AK. Took a chance on a hurricane Katrina victim and it was just too rusty in both the chamber and the bore. Had Vince in Anchorage do it. Basically when I was done with it, had the same amount of money in it as if I could have bought it new.

Last of the reg Prohunter. Has 1" guarantee. .30-06 w WW 150s does it out of the box.
The PH2 makes the prev version look like a supermodel.

Need to add another rifle so believe this is it. They are a super quality rifle and compare to other way more expensive rifles in build quality. It is built in Austria, they don't build crap.
