Birds were at my lease in droves less than a month ago.

Wednesday evening got a dozen between 5:30 and 6:30 PM

Thursdays hunt was abbreviated due to circumstances,

The first of the two is a very old Menefee. Its marked "Proto". It is now called a Menefee 12 Bore.

The second knife is a collaberation knive. A Jerry Fisk forged knife is priced above my pain threshhold. So when he did a collaberation with the guys at WhiteRiver, I called him and asked if I could get one. He put a convex grind on one and sent it my way.

It is the "WhiteRiver/Fisk Sendero Pack knife.

I've used

and abused that one

It remains scary sharp.

Touched it wrong while dressing the doves.

Yowsir!

A Follow Up to another discussion -- can't remember where it was. I'm OLD. Sorry

I've had a few near misses with WouldBe thieves. Actually caught one in progress but didn't recognize what I
was looking at.. at 3:20 AM. A guy dressed in ALL black - he saw me before I saw him. He laid down on the ground
in a ball. In a spot light at 200 yds.... looked like a tire in my pasture. I knew it shouldn't have been there.

I had a spot light and 40 SW, NO pockets, NO phone, flip flops. At daylight I checked HE was GONE.
Also he has NOT been back. I installed these things since.

First, a padlock on shop door !
Had not cleaned door yet.

Today I installed this:

Spot Light at Door - 40 SW Handi - Pockets and slip on boots at door.

I don't want to kill anyone but.... I'm willing.

Quick Follow Up

The pic of the hasp looked like beat marks (dents). Puzzled me. Just now went and looked.
NO dents.
We had had a little shower and that was water droplets. WHEW !
