Hey Guys,
Getting my own reamer made for 22 creedmoor.
Hard to get brass here so just necking down 6 Creed brass.
Question - I hear Saami specs is a freebore of 0.08", I was going to get that or .09" but some of the prints I see have massive freebores of 0.130 plus.
I'm only running a 75gr pill. Will 0.08 suffice or should I go to 0.09/ 0.1

The correct thing to do would be to take a new piece of brass, seat a bullet to your desired seating depth, then send the dummy round with no primer in it to JGS to have them make a reamer for that bullet.
Those longer free bores are for longer bullets.
A good gunsmith will have a uni-throater to throat for longer bullets to suit the length you like. So, I order shorter free bore reamers to accommodate the lighter bullets, throat for longer bullets.
Some would tell you to use a 7T and throat for 88's and call it done.

I got my reamer from Manson, It was throated for 75-80 bullets. I have forgotten the spec's but they were very nice and can and will send you a print of the the reamer.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

As long as you are ordering a custom reamer give some thought to the neck clearance too. I would imagine you don't want to bother turning the necks. You could discover that a standard 22 Creedmoor is a bit tight as the brass thickens when you neck it down. Measure a few loaded rounds that you created and talk to the reamer maker about it. IMO you will need at least .003" total bullet release space. With unturned necks it is best to allow for enough clearance as some brass will vary in thickness. Wouldn't hurt to go with a bit more than .003".

I would get a zero fb reamer in the neck diameter you want along with a separate throating reamer. Simple to ream chamber then use a case with the bullet seated where you want as a gauge while reaming the throat.

I had a reamer done with .110 FB and it is about as good as it gets for several bullets. 69 Scenar, 77 Scenar, 77 TMK, 55 V-Max and a few others that escape me right at the moment. The .110 leaves a bit of room for the bullets that prefer more jump. The 69 gr. Lapua Scenar at .050 jump and a stiff load of RL26 is magic.
