In 1978 I headed out from Idaho to Auburn, Alabama in a 1973, 3 on the tree, worn out Ford f-100 with my high school graduation present in the dash: a Jensen 8 track.
For the next 2,200 miles I listened to Don Williams Volume One, Volume Two, Volume Three, Harmony, You're My Best Friend, Visions, and Country Boy.
4 years later I entered the real world with a Pioneer cassette with "I Believe in You" and "Listen to the Radio".
Don died 4 years ago yesterday.

You can no more tell someone how to do something you've never done, than you can come back from somewhere you've never been...

Scotland is on my bucket list. I’m an Irish, Scottish, German mutt.

Scotland is a wonderful country.
We've owned a place on Holburn Street in Aberdeen for near 30 years, and a farmhouse on a small acreage near Aviemore at the foot of the Cairngorms since 2003...
