Do any of you guys have any experience with US made red wing leather pull on boots? They discontinued my favorite model, the 2218. I'm in the market for another pair, and looked at the various pull on boots red wing makes

I wore em in my oilfield days.
Cause they were free.

Yep. Pecos 2405. Had them replace the lousy Super Sole with a Virbam. I have 2 pairs.

The original Pecos were torture for me. Have a pair of Pecos Comfort Force I like, outgrew them but they're discontinued. One of my best buds that owns a Redwing store said they'd be back.
But bought Justin style 4444 & like them better than most. Will repeat if needed, if they're available next time around. Had umpteen pairs of RW. High mileage is all I can give them points for.

Redwing Pecos 1155, been wearing them for 40 years. Made in the USA. They are heavy, but they last and last. Can be re-soled.

I’m currently wearing a pair of Pecos 1132s. I forget the model, but I liked the last pair I had a bit better, but they are now discontinued. So far, these are great as well.
I used to wear 1155s, but I always ended up rolling the heels over and busting out the stiches. These with the wider rubber sole/heel do not do that.

seeing Kents are still in good shape, made me decide to go to town and get another pair. These have been resoled 4 times and the welt replaced and the cracks are getting bad. They can't be worked on again, and the soles are kinda thin so it was time.....
