Loading up some .357 with 158gr bullets for rifle. Lil Gun burn rates from chart look to be in the same area as other slower powders for .357. I used reg primers for power pistol loads but maybe mag primers would be better with Lil Gun? Yes/NO.
Thanks in advance.

I use magnums with Lil Gun. Hodgdon's does too.

When I used to shoot some jacketed bullets in my 44s I had a great load using Lilgun. I always used standard primers and never had any issues with accuracy or erratic ignition or velocity spreads. Have never burned any in 357 so I don’t know if that case would behave differently but I doubt it.
