I’ve been out of touch on Blackhawk prices. Looking for an OM (or NM flattop) Blackhawk in .357. What’s the going rate for a 4 5/8” in 90%. How much does the ‘safety’ conversion hurt value? Thanks in advance.

Volatile times, but for an OMFT $700 might be a baseline. First variation, other rarities, condition, can alter price considerably. With the safety conversion, Ruger, at one time re-blued the guns, a price detractor in some folks opinion.
If the original parts are included with a converted gun, there's no price deduction. No original parts included can decrease the vale in the ball park of a 150 bucks, or what ever a parts kit is worth these days. I'm just ball parking, prices on some things have been so crazy lately that it's hard to keep up with values.
Do an advanced search on Gunbroker for completed auctions to see what both the OM & NM have been bringing lately.

For an OM with protected sight I'd expect $400-500. Deduct $125 to 150 if without the original lockwork.

Paid $695 not too long ago. Worth it imho. Turns out it shoots high, so I’m going to have to mod it, not sure if I want to go to Dave Clements again for a full house conversion.

Thanks for the link. That finish flaking looks odd, almost like a baked on finish over bluing that is flaking. The price seems good. I’ve never used GI before.

I've owned 10 or 15 Blackhawks over the years (I'm no Ruger expert) but the finish looks suspicious to me.

The finish is not pristine by a long shot. I posted the link for anybody looking for a beater OM, that wasn't a thousand bucks. That's all. PS- Don't give me any schidt or I'll post psuedo subject matter egg-spurt riddle/questions about how dangerous damned old thumb-busters is, when carried on 'false quarter-cock'.
