Thanks to a suggestion by Elkslayer91, I have found some information by calling the school district where he was a board member. The school office told me that his wife is scheduled to get out of the hospital tomorrow. That's wonderful news.
Ethan Edwards' name was Mark (PM me for his last name, please, so searches for it don't take anyone to the Campfire. Also, PM me for the name of the nearby florist and the Funeral Home).

Also, she believes that Feuerborn Funeral Home in Iola will be handling the funeral arrangements. The flourist nearby is Duane's Flowers, and they also can be contacted for information about dates and where to send flowers, notes, etc..
Great news About his wife! TRH, please post his obituary if you find it.

TRH and Gooch, Thanks for your effort and for caring so much about a well esteemed member of our campfire family. I’m following this and I’ll follow up as this develops.
I’m constantly amazed at the genuine kindness of the regulars here.
