My Deer Seasons begin about a month away.
For some reason I’m having a hard time deciding
which rifles I want to hunt ??? confused

I normally use 2 rifles during deer seasons. I guess
my dilemma is because I like what I have and they
are dead dependable. smile

***Don’t say time to get something else. There is
nothing radically different. *that interests me*.
In one way or another I have all the bases covered.

At most, I’ll have to load a few rounds for whichever
I choose.

I guess it’s a NICE predicament!! grin

I think I’ll figure which rifle or cartridge I’ve used the
least or been the longest since I used it/them.

Anyone else having trouble deciding ?

I've decided. Going with my Ruger Hawkeye in 6.8 SPC. Have it loaded with 130 Interlocks at 2550 fps from a 16"barrel. It's feels like an air rifle suppressed.

Decisions, decisions..... Rifle deer season isn't until November 21 in lower NY State, so I have time to decide. The Remington Model Seven 7mm-08 is always #1 on my list. Which other rifles to bring along? Probably a Savage 99, and then who knows?

I'm leaning toward my Tikka Superlight in 243 loaded with either 95 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips or 80 grain TTSX for opening day. No other reason except I've always taken out a 30-06 of one flavor or another and maybe it will change my luck.
On the other hand, I can only shoot 1 buck and no doe tag this year so I would hate to tag out opening day and leave all my other rifles in the safe. I usually take everything out at least once a season.
