Thanks for the info.
I had one of those Hogue 'beavertail' style grip sleeves on my G19, but tossed in in favor of the standard Hogue HandALL with the bottom trimmed off a bit to fit better.
Of course the 43x/48 are smaller to begin with so I can see where it might be just about right.
Anyhoo, I took possession of my 43x today. Installed the metal mag release from Shield Arms, and have a couple of their 15 round magazines on hand. Also replaced the plastic sights with Ameriglo Tritium. Have a Hogue HandALL Jr grip sleeve in the pipeline, thinking it might be a good fit for this grip , but we'll see....I liked it on the Kahr CW9.

I forgot about ordering the Hogue grip until I saw this again. Just got one ordered. Best as I remember they are kind of a pain to put on (I had one one another pistol I had years ago). Best as I remember, I used some dish soap with a little water, or something like that to help get it on. What is the best way to do that?
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Hair dryer. Heat it up a little. Use finger from inside grip to push it out as you push it up and on the pistol. Go from frontstrap to backstrap.

I've put them in hot water, not boiling, but close, that loosens them up too.

Just an FYI--The Pachmayr Grip Gloves are much easier to install than the Hogues, and seem to be made of a stickier rubber, which can be either a good or bad thing.

just got my grip on. Not too big of a problem. The palm swell is not my thing, wish it was just straight down the sides. It does reduce the bite and makes it easier to shoot, just wish they would ditch the palm swell

Handled my first Glock 48 today. MOS model. Holy crap that thing was sweet I think my G19 is going to get sent down the road. LGS had the 15 round shield mags in stock as well.
