The boltface might be machined differently on the 17hmr, as the 17 has a larger diameter case head diameter than the 22LR. Just speculation on my part though

The way they attach the barrel makes it very questionable.

Just speculation on my part though Not really, the HMR is based on the .22 WMR, which isn't materially bigger than .22LR. I have a half-dozen CZ 455s, and all of them are switch-able to any one of the three cartridges. One of the better-shooting 455s is a 455 with a CZ 457 barrel on it (.22WMR). The 455 and 457 use the same magazines and barrels, although the 457 barrels has a different finish on it. For the OPs question, it will depend on how the barrel is attached to the receiver, and I'm not familiar with that, so I can't answer.

If they don’t sell the barrels as accessories, it’s kind of a dead end even if possible.
After a trial run with a 455, I decided it wasn’t for me.
What fresh Hell is this?

-I don't know if the barrels are screwed in or press fit but I wouldn't attempt it, regardless.

Lothar makes "drop in" barrels for the T1X, so I think it's a possibility. That said, I've never done or look at any of the videos of folks swapping barrels. https://www.lothar-walther.com/drop-in-gun-barrels/tikka-t1x/
