I recently bought a Savage, made by Valmet 12 ga. over/under shotgun that could use a good stock. The one I have is in real nice cond but has a chunk of wood missing behind the right side of the receiver. I could repair it, but I don't want to take the time to fix it when I could be using it. If you have something like that , I would be interested in seeing pics and a price sent to my e-mail address ( on my profile) or here!
Thanks for your help, Ken

It would be a stock for a comparable Valmet of Finland model.

I have one of those shotguns, very good for the money. I bought mine with a broke stock also and it took me a while before i finally found one through a local gunsmith. You can get one made and i think Macon gunstocks has them.

Try asking on www.doublegunshop.com/BBS You'll have to register, but it's free and there are, or used to be, some serious Valmet nuts on there. They can at least tell you which older Valmets use the same stock as the 330. You can't have mine-- I gave it to my son. I did keep the "Savage" 333 20 Mag that my wife gave me back in the 1980s, tho. Valmets work every time, even when it's below zero or coming down freezing rain!
Was Mike Armstrong. Got logged off; couldn't log back on. RE-registered my old call sign, Mesa. FNG. Again. Mike Armstrong

Thanks glosto & Mesa for your help with info and encouragement. My stock is in excellent cond. except where some of the wood on the upper right side of the receiver is missing. I can repair it myself, but would rather find another stock to use while I am working on my repair job. I am going to use you guy's help to locate a stock . I had forgotten about Double Gun and Macon in my searches. I will let you know how my search is going Ken
