Setting up a low volume kit for a friend. Not a charity affair, just a good old friend.

Potentially could use the following, below new retail, and perfectly functional.... Preferably not made in China. Cheap would be great. No hurry, zero worry.

Powder trickler, prefer vintage rather than plastic.
Powder funnel, for 30 cal.
Lee Ram Prime, or similar, though I prefer the older RPs.
In/outside deburring tool.

Case trimming solution for 30-06 only. Don't really need a full-blown hand lathe. Advice? Trim die?
Lee collet neck die, 30-06.
Single stage press, although I am not sure I'm ready to purchase. I don't want a wanky old POS.

Basically, I have the following for him:
Beam powder scale, FL die set, loading block, Lee Petfect powder measure.

Let me know. We're good for fair payment too... Possibly a combo deal with syrup?

Have all sorts of trade bait too....

In the greater Helena area, we ended up with 4 medium dog 'kennels' - carriers - crates, for adult beagle size. Going to need a lab size....

Need a 16' farm gate. I rammed the other breaking out of a snow drift last year... LOL

Selling a "well-used" Yard destructing device.

For a trimming solution, look into the World's Fastest Trimmer by little crow gun works. It's $45ish. You chuck it into any drill. Way faster than the hand lathe

Found it, send me an address and I'll get it out tomorrow while I'm sending syrup.

Checked my stuff and don't have anything quite right that I'd want to sell.

He might consider one of the Lee reloading kits, which include press, scale, etc., and are inexpensive and everything works well.

Just a comment on the WFT trimmer since I frequently trim once fired range brass. That trimmer indexes off the case shoulder. If ever using someone else's fired brass don't final trim until the brass has been fired in the users chamber.

Right on guys...

Bit of a scale snob and got him an Ohaus 5-10 so likely beyond most kits, though still looking. Like to find a Lee Classic Cast press for him, but, they're getting awful proud! Or I'm just getting cheap! I busted a Lee Challenger and might still have that around and now better equipped to fabricate parts for repair. That might work.

Regarding trimmers. Knowing him, I best not skip this. LOL

Any extra powder tricklers out there? Cash or trade. Any vintage.

Lee Ram Prime?

Thanks

I may have a powder trickler, I will look in the morning. I also have bucket loads of 06 stuff. Still own two but do not hunt them. Finding sheit is the challenge. If there are other things let me know i am not into the wrapping and shipping business so I want to keep it simple.

I hear ya on the finding part. I'm about 5 moves into complete and utter discombobulation. Making progress, but it's slow...

I put in an Ebay bid on a trickler. Give it a few days. We're all set on brass. Brass prep tools maybe? Just simple as he's no rifle looney.... A separate decapper die is never a bad thing. Hammer type bullet puller? Have cash and trade goods.

Thanks Roy. I have an extra funnel for him. I sorta went nuts and bought caliber specific aluminum funnels. LOL, I do like them, however, so don't need them... I thought the World was ending last year, certain about it now, and overflowing with goods....

Thinking I better look through all the 30-06 die sets I have ended up with too, might have a Form/Trim die. That'd be easy...
I found a standard Ram Prime at Mid South for an ok price, though I'd need to offset shipping by buying more stuff...

Appreciate it guys, and so will he...
