If I have a finely accurate rifle (in this case a .264 magnum shooting 120 grain TTSX) and very carefully sight it for 200 yards, and proceed to measure the drop at 400, 500, and 600 yards will one of the scope manufactures supply me with a scope with the crosshairs etched to match that gun's performance with that load?

I've had dozens of guns but never really paid much attention to the scopes available and options available. I don't want a dial system, but merely to use the crosshairs etched in the reticule.

Will someone convert one of my existing scopes with such a reticule?

Personally, not aware of custom reticles as you describe.

Depending on scopes that interest you, you may find something that is useful, fairly close enough. Likely you know, several manufacturers offer ways to determine how your known drops match their product.....

Then can use something like the Strelok App to get a visual of what a given POI will appear like on the reticle.

Resultng in something like this hypothetical with a milgdot...

When you get beyond 400 yards atmospheric conditions come more into play. I have a custom dial by Kenton on one of my scopes and trust it out to 400 or so but after that use a ballistics app.
If you are always going to be using it at the same elevation, humidity, etc every time it may be OK.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.
