Wife and three daughters, became bed ridden in 09' with flu during a four week period. Ended up having to take two of them to urgent care then hospital ER for dehydration as they couldn't keep anything down. I got nothing but the sniffles. Guess who was the only one not to get the yearly flu shot.
Yes I still play that card. Graphene has protective qualities

Buddies have tried Danner Pronghorns They all failed, leaving them with wet feet within an hour. 🦫 Gotcha. Comfy around here, miss the old style. Danner makes a good affordable boot. Original Pronghorns style were better. I spent some coin on my first pair of Canadian boots. Then started looking at eBay now and then. Picked up two more pairs for half the retail price. Tried the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots last season. Comfortable boot, feet stay dry, only bitch is their lug sole material is super slick on wet logs. I’ve ended up on my ass a few times. 🦫 What the heck would a guy from Western Orygun know about wet logs. Sheesh. Hold into the caulks

got the shingles vaccine yesterday, they say its 99% effective
There were some side effects 24 hours later, no energy, joints ache - get to do it again in 3 months.
I'll take it over shingles though

Shingles left arm Friday, flu right arm. Wasn't planned- we went to Costco for other reasons and there they were. Both were a first for me. Those 5 gallon sized jugs of vaccine gave me pause.....  I think I'm still having some after-effects from one or both., but nothing serious. Hot/cold/lethergy. Wife puked during the first night. Probably get Hep A&B in a few days, then some others. Gonna be armor plated by thanksgiving. Tanzania calls.... fook the Covid.
